How long does it take to set up a team store?
Most coordinators launch a store in 5 minutes. You pick a sport template, add your team name + colors, set a close date, and share the link. We handle product cost, manufacturing, fulfillment, and tracking.
Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can post a link in a group chat, you can run a TeamStores.AI store. Setup takes minutes; everything else is automated.
Do I need to buy inventory upfront?
No. Orders ship individually after the store closes. You never buy stock, never store gear, never distribute by hand. Each family's order ships directly to them.
What sports do you support?
Swimming, lacrosse, volleyball, soccer, basketball, field hockey, and track & field — each with a sport-specific catalog of jerseys, warm-ups, and accessories. We add sports on request.
What if my store has very few orders?
There's no minimum. Whether 3 families or 60 families order, every item ships. You're never stuck with leftover inventory.
Pricing & fundraising
Cost, markup, and how teams earn from their store.
Is TeamStores.AI really free?
Yes — free for individual coaches. No setup fee, no monthly fee, no contract. We source uniforms and accessories at wholesale; you set the markup, and the markup is your team's revenue. That's how the platform stays free.
How does fundraising work?
You set a markup on each product (typically 15-35%). Families pay base cost + your markup at checkout. The markup pays out to your team via Stripe Connect after the store closes. Average store raises ~$4,000 per season.
What does Club tier add?
Club tier adds custom branding, advanced analytics, multi-team org-level controls, and API access. See pricing for details.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Wholesale gear cost + your markup + Stripe processing (standard) = total at checkout. No platform fee on top.
When do I get paid?
Payouts happen via Stripe Connect after the store's close date and the standard order-fulfillment window (typically 7-14 days). Stripe deposits into your bank account directly.
Products & shipping
How orders ship, return policy, and product quality.
Where does the gear ship from?
Merch Farm fulfills every TeamStores.AI order. Gear is custom-printed per order in the US and ships via USPS with tracking. Each family receives their own package.
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship within ~7 days of the store close date. USPS delivery is typically 3-7 days after that. Total turnaround: ~2 weeks from store close.
What's the return policy?
Defect-free guarantee — anything wrong with your gear (printing error, sizing issue from manufacturer, damaged in transit), we make it right. Custom personalization (player names + numbers) is non-returnable for fit reasons.
Can I include player names and numbers?
Yes. Personalization is built into checkout — each family enters their player's name + number per item. No coordinator spreadsheet required.
Platform mechanics
Stripe, payments, security, integrations.
How are payments handled?
Stripe Checkout for every order. Stripe handles PCI compliance, fraud detection, and chargebacks. Coordinators connect their Stripe account during setup; payouts go directly to the connected account.
Is my data secure?
Yes — we follow standard practices for SaaS security. See our Security page for details. Card data is handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1); we never store card numbers.
Can I integrate TeamStores.AI with other tools?
Yes — we have a Zapier integration plus a public REST API + webhooks. See the Integrations marketplace and Developer docs.
Can I clone a store from last season?
Yes. One-click clone copies products, dates, branding, and settings. You just update the close date and share a fresh link.
Can multiple coordinators run the same store?
Yes — Club + Enterprise tiers support multi-coordinator access with role-based permissions. Free tier supports a single coordinator per store.
